School Age Program

The Holy Cross Lutheran Children’s Center is accepting Stage Four Admission Agreements for the 2020-2021 School Year. We will provide care and support for children/families both before and after school, including early pick up around noon and later pick up for those choosing the optional support in the afternoons. We are also accepting registrations for our 2021 summer program and for the 2021-2022 school year. Find the forms and other information under “QuickLinks.” Please contact Cynthia at childrenscenter@holycrosslosgatos.com with questions. Our prayers and hopes are with all our families.

Holy Cross Lutheran Children's Center School Age Program provides a Christ-centered daycare program from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm before and after school for children in grades K-5.  Daycare is available on school in-service days.  The Holy Cross School year will begin on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

The program is designed to help children develop a healthy self-concept, which includes accepting themselves, their limitations and talents as God has given them.  The children experience God's love in action as the staff reinforces the belief of Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior and Friend.

The School Age Day Care Program is held on the grounds of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.  The program makes use of the Good News Building classrooms for indoor activities and the playground area for outdoor fun.  The area where the children play is sealed off by gates while the children are at the daycare.  You are always invited to come and see us!

Award Winning

The Children's Center Wins Best of Los Gatos Award!
7 Years in a Row

Activities include arts, crafts, cooking, carpentry, dramatic play, games and sports, music, study time and daily worship.  Snacks are provided.  The children provide their own lunches on full days.

Safe, Reliable Transportation
The children are taken to and from school in either our 15-passenger or 17-passenger Youth Bus.  Both vehicles are licensed and inspected by the California Highway Patrol.  Our drivers have Class B driver's licenses and youth bus certificates, undergo a physical every two years and must submit to a written examination and behind-the-wheel driving test.  In addition, the drivers must also possess a CPR and first aid certification.  Each day the drivers are required to sign in and inspect the vehicles before transporting children. The vehicles are equipped with seatbelts for the passengers and the drivers.
